IWOOT Awards
Ha pasado mucho tiempo desde mi ultimo post sobre la oficina, ha pasado mucho tiempo desde que tuve tiempo para escribir un post como Dios manda. Asi que hoy es el dia.

Mis dos jefes han inventado una nueva forma de mimarnos para hacernos trabajar mas duro y es el premio IWOOT (http://www.iwantoneofthose.com/), Sooz lo gano hace dos semanas y adivinad que ha llegado hoy a la oficina...
Si, tienes razon, es un barco pirata!!! Nos estamos convirtiendo mas bristolianos que nunca ;)
Yo fui un poco mas sosa, y me pedi el DVD de la Princesa Prometida. Pelicula que a mi hermano, mi primo y a mi nos tuvo entretenidos mas de una tarde.

I was a little bit more boring and I asked for the Princess Bride DVD. Film that entertained my brother, my cousin and I for more than one afternoon.

Beckhamitis
Prometí no volver a dejar pasar tanto tiempo, pero no he cumplido mi promesa. Y la única excusa que me queda es que como "todo lo malo se pega", pues los Beckham nos han contagiado.

Actualizaciones!!!
Hace tres meses que no actualizo, os pido disculpas, pero entre unas cosas y otras no he accedido mucho a Internet desde casa, luego llegaron las vacaciones y apenas hemos parado en casa de tanta fiesta.
Julio fue horroroso por el mal tiempo, en Agosto nos fuimos a Santorini y vinieron las visitas, luego hizo bueno y saliamos a comer fuera de la oficina y ahora ya ha vuelto el mal de tiempo de nuevo.
Prometo empezar de nuevo enseguida, como por ejemplo, hoy.

Scotland
Hace un par de semanas, Bristolian, Vasilis y yo decidimos pasar el finde en las tierras altas. Cogimos un avión a Edimburgo el viernes muy temprano y 65 minutos más tarde aterrizabamos en Edimburgo. Tengo que reconocer que nos enamoramos.
El castillo es imponente, las calles son encantadoras, parece que el tiempo se haya parado en cada esquina. Y no puedes evitar sentirte como en casa, aunque seas de muy lejos.
Al dia siguiente subimos al autobus que nos llevaria de ruta por las Tierras Altas, con el mejor guía que pudieramos tener y muy buenos compañeros de viaje (¡Hola Isabelle!).
El sábado visitamos a Hamish, Culloden Moor, Eilean Donan Castle, Fort Williams (solo desde el bus y eso que hacia un dia precioso, raro para ser Mayo) y llegamos a Skye. El domingo probamos el tipico English/Scottish breakfast y recorrimos toda la isla, y el Lunes visitamos Inverness y el lago Ness.
Nos quedamos con ganas de más, pero tenemos claro que volveremos.

A couple of weeks ago, Bristolian, Vasilis and I decided to spend the weekend in the high lands. We took an airplane to Edimburgo on Friday very early and 65 minutes later we landed in Edimburgh. I must recognize that we fell in love with the town.
The castle is imposing, the streets are charming, seems that the time has been stopped in each corner.
And you cannot avoid feeling like at home, although you are of very far away.
On the following day we raised the bus that will drive a route by the HighLands, with the best guide than we could have and very good trip mates ( Hello Isabelle!).
Saturday we visited Hamish, Culloden Moor, Eilean Donan Castle, Fort Williams (just from the bus altought was a nice day, very weird for being May) and arrived to Skye. Sunday we proved the typical English/Scottish breakfast and we crossed all the island, and Monday we visited Inverness and the loch Ness.
We remained with desire of more, but we know clearly that we will return.

Temporada de paellas
Desde este Domingo, queda oficialmente inaugurada la temporada de paellas en 5deredlandpark, todo aquel que desee disfrutar de una agradable comida valenciana, cocinada en un paella traida desde Valencia con su paellero y todo (Gracias yaya!) que vaya apuntandose en los comentarios ;)

From this Sunday, it is officially inaugurated the paellas season in 5deredlandpark, everybody who wish to enjoy a pleasant Valencian food, cooked in a proper paella brought from Valencia with its paellero (Thanks yaya!) can add his name to the comments ;)

Un dia de golf
El sábado Gabi nos convenció para ir a jugar al golf, hacía un dia precioso y teníamos curiosidad por saber que escondían las puertas del Ashton Court, así que no hizo falta mucho para que accedieramos.
Cuesta 5 pounds por jugar, más 5 de reserva por los palos (te dejan uno de cada) que luego recuperas al finalizar la partida. Las pelotas van aparte y las compras a 80 peniques. Nosotros compartíamos los palos y apenas gastamos 4 pelotas, que tenemos de recuerdo.
A pesar de los esfuerzos de la buena de Gabi, el que más mejoró fue Bristolian, aunque lo suyo no son las distancias cortas, está hecho un Tiger Bush en blanco. Alex tenía muy buen estilo, pero un poco de mala suerte y poca paciencia. Y lo mío no tiene arreglo, pero al menos lo intenté.
Estuvimos 4 horas sin darnos cuenta y tomamos mucho el sol, además disfrutamos de las vistas sobre la ciudad. Increíble. Así que repetiremos en breve. ¿Alguien se apunta?
In English:A golf day
Last Saturday Gabi convinced us for playing golf, it was a sunny day and we wanted to know what was hidden behind Ashton Court Gates, so it wasn't necessaty too much for us.
It costs 5 pounds for playing, plus 5 pounds as reserve for the clubs (one of each type) that you get back when you give back them. The ball are apart, they are 80 pennies each. We were sharing clubs and we just used 4 balls that we keep as souvenirs.
Despite the efforts of the goob Gabi, the one that improved the most was Bristolian, although his aren´t the short distances, he is made a white Tiger Bush. Alex had very good style, but a little of bad luck and few patience. And I can´t get fixed, but I tried it at least.
It was 4 hours easily spent and we took a lot the sun, in addition we enjoyed the city views. Amazing. So we will repeat shortly. Somebody wants to join us?
